Gasconade County R-1 is seeking highly qualified, student-centered applicants for our Middle School Boys Basketball Program for the 2026–2027 season. Candidates must have the ability to build strong rapport with students, coaches, and the community. This position will provide mentorship while fostering a culture of positivity, high expectations, and professionalism that will shape our students now and in the future.

As a coach, you will be part of a school with a rich tradition of academic and athletic excellence. Our district values teamwork and maximizing the potential of each student. The successful candidate will play an integral role in collaborating with fellow basketball coaches within the district’s MSHSAA-approved athletic programs. Experience with the rules, skills, and techniques of MSHSAA basketball is preferred, but not required. Previous basketball coaching experience is preferred, but not required. Sixty hours of college credit is strongly preferred, and a teaching certificate is preferred, but not required.
