Gasconade County R-1 (Hermann Schools) is seeking student-centered applicants for our High School Assistant Football Coach for the 2023-2024 Fall Season.  Candidates must work as a team with the head football coach and have the ability to build a strong rapport with students, coaches, and the community. This position will provide mentorship and a culture of positivity, high expectations, and professionalism that will define our students now and in the future. 

 

As a coach, you will be part of a school that has a rich tradition of academic and athletic excellence. Our district focuses on teamwork and maximizing the potential of each student. The successful candidate will play an integral role in working collaboratively with fellow football coaches in MSHSAA approved athletic offerings. Experience with the rules, skills, and techniques of MSHSAA football is preferred but not required. Previous football coaching experience preferred, but not required. 60 hours of college credit is strongly preferred; a teaching certificate is preferred but not required.
